Delivery – Microcement Products & Materials and Furniture

DELIVERY

We deliver both Microcement Products & Materials and Furniture, and delivery times and arrangements vary depending on the type of product ordered.

Please read the relevant section below before placing your order. For full details, please refer to our Terms & Conditions.

1. General Delivery Information

Delivery of Goods shall be deemed to take place:

1.1 Delivered Goods

Where Goods are transported to the Buyer by ClaudiCemento, the manufacturer, or an independent carrier, delivery shall be deemed to take place when the Goods arrive at the delivery address specified in the order, or at the nearest accessible point to such address, prior to unloading.

1.2 Collected Goods

Where Goods are collected by the Buyer, delivery shall be deemed to take place at the earlier of:

1.2.1 the time the Goods are collected by the Buyer, its employees or agents; or 1.2.2 seven days after the Buyer has been notified that the Goods are ready for collection.

1.3 Estimated Delivery Times

Any delivery or dispatch times provided by ClaudiCemento are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Time for delivery shall not be of the essence.

1.4 Delays Beyond Our Control

ClaudiCemento reserves the right to suspend, delay or amend dispatch, delivery or collection services during periods of warehouse closure or where circumstances arise beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to holidays, annual leave, public holidays, stocktakes, operational requirements, courier delays, supply chain disruption or other unforeseen events. In such cases, orders will be dispatched or delivered as soon as reasonably practicable once normal operations resume.

2. Microcement Products & Materials

2.1 Standard Dispatch Time

Microcement products, materials, tools, kits and related non-furniture goods are generally dispatched within 2–3 business days after receipt of payment, unless otherwise stated.

2.2 Back Orders

Where a product is marked “Available on back order”, this means the item is temporarily out of stock and is not available for immediate dispatch. Such items usually take 8–10 working days to be received and dispatched, unless otherwise stated.

2.3 Large Orders

Orders covering an area above 500m² may require a longer dispatch time, typically 10–14 working days or more depending on stock availability and production scheduling. Please contact us directly for further details before placing large-volume orders.

2.4 Delivery Method

Unless otherwise stated, deliveries of microcement products and materials are made to the nearest safe and accessible unloading point. ClaudiCemento is not responsible for any additional lifting, carrying or movement of the Goods beyond that point.

2.5 Combined Orders

Shipping charges are calculated based on the total weight, volume and nature of the order. We recommend grouping items into one order where possible, as separate orders may incur separate shipping charges.

3. Furniture / Dining Tables

3.1 Made-to-Order Lead Time

Furniture items, including dining tables, are generally made to order. Estimated production and delivery time is 6–8 weeks from order confirmation and receipt of cleared payment, unless otherwise stated in writing.

3.2 Delivery Times

Delivery dates for furniture are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed. Delays may occasionally occur due to production scheduling, specialist couriers, materials availability or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

3.3 Access Requirements

The Buyer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery address, access route and intended room location are suitable for delivery of the furniture ordered. This includes checking:

  • door widths
  • hallways and corridors
  • staircases and landings
  • lift dimensions
  • turning spaces
  • parking restrictions
  • any building management requirements

3.4 Furniture Delivery Scope

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, furniture delivery is to the ground floor entrance, kerbside or first reasonably accessible point only, as determined by ClaudiCemento or the carrier acting reasonably.

Unless otherwise agreed, delivery does not include:

  • carrying items upstairs or beyond the first accessible point
  • unpacking
  • assembly or installation
  • positioning in the room of choice
  • removal or disposal of packaging
  • removal of existing furniture

3.5 Failed Furniture Delivery

If delivery cannot be completed due to restricted access, incorrect delivery information, absence of the Buyer, unsafe conditions, or any other issue outside ClaudiCemento’s control, we reserve the right to:

  • rearrange delivery
  • place the Goods into storage at the Buyer’s risk
  • charge reasonable redelivery, storage, handling and administration costs

4. Delayed Delivery Requested by the Buyer

If the Buyer requests in writing that delivery be expedited or delayed, ClaudiCemento will try to accommodate the request where reasonably possible, but this does not make time of delivery of the essence.

If a Buyer requests delayed delivery, ClaudiCemento may charge any reasonable additional costs incurred, including but not limited to:

  • storage charges
  • insurance
  • handling costs
  • overtime or specialist courier charges

If delay requested by the Buyer continues for more than 28 days, ClaudiCemento reserves the right to:

  • terminate the Contract
  • sell the Goods to another person
  • recover any losses reasonably incurred as a result of the Buyer’s default

5. Buyer Delay or Failure to Accept Delivery

If ClaudiCemento is unable to deliver the Goods due to delay or default by the Buyer, including failure to provide correct delivery details, failure to take delivery, or failure to obtain any necessary authorisations, ClaudiCemento may reschedule delivery to a later date reasonably required, taking account of its commitments to other customers.

ClaudiCemento shall not be responsible for any direct, indirect or consequential loss, cost, charge or expense caused by delay in delivery resulting from:

  • failure of the Buyer to take delivery on time
  • failure of the Buyer to provide proper delivery instructions
  • failure of the Buyer to obtain required access or permissions
  • any delay or postponement requested by the Buyer

6. Instalment Deliveries

ClaudiCemento may deliver Goods in separate instalments where appropriate. Each instalment may be invoiced separately and treated as a separate contract. Delay or issue affecting one instalment shall not entitle the Buyer to cancel any other instalment.

7. Inspection on Delivery

The Buyer should inspect the Goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

7.1 Visible Damage or Shortages

Any visible damage, missing items or delivery discrepancies should be noted at the time of delivery where possible and reported to ClaudiCemento in writing as soon as possible.

7.2 Furniture Damage

For furniture items, any visible damage should be reported within 48 hours of delivery, and any concealed damage within 3 days, together with photographs of the Goods and packaging.

7.3 Retaining Packaging

Please retain all packaging until any delivery issue has been reviewed and resolved.

8. Collection

Collection from ClaudiCemento may be available by prior arrangement. Goods must be collected within the agreed time frame once the Buyer has been notified that the Goods are ready. If Goods are not collected within a reasonable period, storage charges may apply.

9. Delivery Charges

Shipping and delivery charges may include handling, packaging and transport costs.

Charges vary depending on:

  • the type of Goods
  • weight and volume
  • delivery location
  • courier requirements
  • any special access or delivery conditions

Separate orders may incur separate delivery charges.
